Press Release: December 19, 2017

Summa F1330 flatbed cutter/finishing system now at ArtSystems, a first in the UK

ArtSystems has installed the Summa F1330 wide format cutter/finishing system into its Nottingham-based demonstration suite – a first in the UK. This latest addition to the popular Summa Professional Flatbed range builds on the success of the award-winning F Series and can cut media 129cm (51 in) wide and 305cm (120 in) long. It can also cut up to 50m (164 ft) long in multi panel sections.

Andrew Edwards, Divisional Manager Sign & Display, explains why bringing the powerful cutter/finisher to the ArtSystems’ demonstration suite is so important: “Introducing the F1330 to the ArtSystems demonstration suite expands the range of solutions for print finishing, conceptual short run packaging and point of sale signage applications that can be demonstrated for reseller’s clients."

The Summa F1330 Series Pro Flatbed System is a beautiful, award-winning solution for producing innovative signage, displays, samples, packaging applications, and much more. With its ever increasing arsenal of tools and optional add-ons, media handling has never been easier; but we know that seeing is believing. We can talk about the F1330 all day, but until you get your hands on it and find out what it can do you’re only seeing half the picture.

Andrew continued: “As part of the ArtSystems’ culture of service and support for our resellers and their clients we always try to ensure we are able to demonstrate the right product for the job. Not having the F1330 in the UK meant arranging visits to Summa’s Belgium-based offices, which was not always convenient for customers – and protracted travel time ate into most of the day."

Now we have the F1330 on site here in the UK we can quickly carry out tailor-made demos at a time to suit the client. This has two principal benefits: we gain a much better understanding of the real needs of the customer; and they enjoy more time to discover what the unit can really do to meet those needs. "

Installing the Summa F1330 in our demonstration suite means our demonstration team are going to have a busy time of it in 2018. They see it as an early Christmas present.
