ArtSystems’ STEM Ambassadors bring 3D Printing to students at the Digital Skills Show

Press Release: June, 2018

ArtSystems’ Lorna Brindley nominated twice for CRN Women in the Channel 2018 Award.

Technical Service Manager, Lorna Brindley, has been nominated in two categories for the CRN Women in the Channel Awards 2018.

Launched in April this year, the awards are hoped to help address the gender imbalances that handicap some companies by highlighting the excellence of women working in the Channel. Lorna has been nominated for both “Woman of the Year” and “Role Model of the Year”.

Steve Hawker, ArtSystems’ MD, agrees with the judges’ choice: "Lorna leads the service team brilliantly, delivering excellent service and outstanding customer satisfaction. Managing the largest team in ArtSystems can be a challenging remit – her team must deliver excellence under pressure and keep customers printing! A lot of men would buckle under the pressure".

We’re extremely pleased for Lorna’s qualities to be recognised with these two major nominations, and it is great to see the industry finally acknowledge the vital role women play in our success".

Few women lead service delivery teams in the male-dominated production print sector, and we believe Lorna’s proven ability to lead and innovate make her an excellent role model for women looking to forge a career in this demanding business sector".

Whatever happens on the night, Lorna will always be a winner to all her colleagues here at ArtSystems.”

The CRN Award winners will be announced on 18th October 2018 during a ceremony at the Hilton Bankside London.
